In the heart of the Boland lies Worcester, the capital of the Breede Valley and the Care Capital of South Africa. Nestled between blue mountain ranges, vineyards and orchards, rich in heritage and culture and the warmest Boland hospitality you will ever come across. The Mediterranean-like summers and true Boland winters make for the perfect conditions to explore and enjoy the town and countryside throughout the year. Snow falls regularly in winter, this series was shot about 3km from my home.

Winter is my favourite season in our region. The Brandwacht Mountains and Audenberg Peak all lie above the 1000m snowline.
