Shot in the remote Rogge Cloof Reserve near Sutherland, this work forms part of one of the rarest wildlife series ever captured in Africa. Weeks of preparation, close collaboration with conservationists, and the guidance of experienced trackers led us into the mountains just as a powerful snowstorm swept across the Karoo. Radio-collared for monitoring and protection, the cheetahs glided across the white canvas with grace—untouched by the elements, at home in the extraordinary.
For the photographer, the path was more difficult. Camera systems faltered in the biting cold, autofocus failed amidst a flurry of snowflakes, and lenses fogged with ice. Each frame was earned. But faith endured. What emerged was not merely a wildlife image—it was a moment of divine alignment, of stillness in motion, of faith meeting frost.
This photographed event has been internationally recognised, featured in National Geographic and South African wildlife magazine Weg!/Go! Magazine issue №192, October/November 2020 South Africa.. Only one other documented instance of cheetahs in the snow exists in South Africa, making this not only a visual rarity, but a cultural and ecological milestone, this being the first professional documentation of African cheetahs in the snow.

Triptych Size Guide
For Triptych Collection artworks, the selected size applies consistently across all three panels.
In compositions where the side panels are portrait and the centre panel is landscape, the selected size refers to the maximum height of the artwork. For example, when A3 is selected, the two portrait side panels are produced to the A3 long dimension, and the centre landscape panel is scaled proportionally to match that same height.
Where all three panels are landscape or all three are portrait, the selected format remains consistent throughout the set — A0 is A0, A1 is A1, A2 is A2 and A3 is A3. Sizes are not mixed between panels.
