Dwelling Among The Peaks: Brandwacht In Winter’s Embrace
“Dwelling Among the Peaks: Brandwacht in Winter’s Embrace, Worcester, South Africa” - In this contemplative winter scene from the Brandwacht Valley near Worcester, South Africa, nature reveals its quiet strength and spiritual symbolism beneath a fresh veil of snow. Captured during a rare storm using a professional Nikon digital camera, “Dwelling Among the Peaks: Brandwacht in Winter’s Embrace” reveals a moment where creation appears hushed—poised between the fleeting touch of snow and the eternal grandeur of the mountains.
A small whitewashed farmhouse is gently tucked into the middle ground, dwarfed by the towering, snow-covered mountain range beyond. The scene speaks of solitude and sanctuary, its muted tones and gentle contrasts drawing the eye into a layered interplay between presence and mystery. A hillside anchors the foreground, hinting at resilience and rhythm even in the heart of winter’s embrace.
John 14:23
Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
This is not merely a depiction of rural life—it is a visual meditation inspired by the words of John 14:23:
“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.’”
Here, a biblical invitation to communion becomes tangible through landscape. The distant mountains, stoic and enduring, take on a sacred presence—as if the divine itself has made its dwelling among the hills. The quiet farmhouse suggests a heart prepared to receive, echoing the theme of divine indwelling with visual elegance.
This work resonates with collectors who desire more than surface beauty. It speaks to those who seek narratives rooted in place, faith, and time. The photograph’s careful balance of detail and atmosphere, informed by the artist’s analogue-trained eye, offers a gallery-quality piece that invites deep reflection.
Printed to museum standards on archival paper, the piece ensures both visual longevity and emotional presence. Ideal for refined interior spaces, curated collections, or spiritually themed exhibitions, it embodies the stillness of a sacred pause—the kind only found when the mountains are listening, and the soul is at home.
This is a signed and embossed Open Edition print.

Collections are available as either Open Editions or Limited Editions, depending on the artwork.
The Triptych Collection Sizes

Triptych Size Guide
For Triptych Collection artworks, the selected size applies consistently across all three panels.
In compositions where the side panels are portrait and the centre panel is landscape, the selected size refers to the maximum height of the artwork. For example, when A3 is selected, the two portrait side panels are produced to the A3 long dimension, and the centre landscape panel is scaled proportionally to match that same height.
Where all three panels are landscape or all three are portrait, the selected format remains consistent throughout the set — A0 is A0, A1 is A1, A2 is A2 and A3 is A3. Sizes are not mixed between panels.
Available Triptych Collection sizes: A0, A1, A2 and A3.

Each Limited Edition print is hand-numbered—for example: 10/25
This indicates the tenth print produced from a total edition of twenty-five.
