The 6×17 Panoramic Collection showcases the world in an extraordinary format—wide, cinematic, and rich in detail. Captured using specialized medium format film cameras, each image offers an expansive perspective that immerses the viewer in vast landscapes, sweeping cityscapes, and dramatic natural scenes. The entire collection was captured on film using three different cameras. Two are dedicated 617 panoramic cameras: Fuji GX617 Professional and Linhof Technorama 617 cameras, while the other is a Shen-Hao HZX810-IIA Classic 8×10″ large format film camera with a 6×17 roll film back. This is a combination of medium format roll film on a large format sheet film camera.

The scenes were shot in South Africa, with the desire to capture beautiful images of other Southern African countries in both landscape and portrait formats.
